    5 Easy Korean Recipes to Make

    Apart from music and drama, South Korea is also known to have a variety of dishes that have managed to attract the world's attention, including Indonesia. With unique and delicious flavors, some of these Korean recipes are also fairly easy to make.

    1. Japchae (Korean fried vermicelli)

    Japchae

    Is a complementary food. This means that this dish is not served as the main menu. In one meal, Japchae is also often served in one small plate portion.

    Japchae can also be likened to fried rice noodles. It's just that, Japche is made using sweet potato noodles.

    Materials needed:

    • 400 grams of vermicelli noodles
    • 200 grams of beef that has been sliced ​​in small and thin sizes
    • 6 shitake mushrooms, cut into small and thin pieces
    • 2 beaten chicken eggs
    • One finely sliced ​​onion
    • 1 carrot, peeled and sliced ​​matchsticks
    • A bunch of spinach, just take the leaves
    • One tablespoon sesame oil (to anoint vermicelli)
    • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut lengthwise and thin
    • salt and cooking oil to taste

    Ingredients for marinating meat:

    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • One tablespoon of granulated sugar
    • 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
    • One garlic clove, finely chopped

    Ingredients for japchae seasoning:

    • 100 ml soy sauce
    • 100 ml of honey
    • One tablespoon of roasted sesame seeds
    • One garlic clove, finely chopped
    • 2 tbsp sesame oil
    • Ground pepper to taste

    Steps to make:

    1. Make the meat marinade. Take a medium sized container, then mix the soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic and sesame oil.

    2. Put the cutlets in the container. Stir and soak for 15 minutes.

    3. Heat a little cooking oil in a skillet over the heat evenly. Make a regular omelet. However, try not to make the omelet too thick. Remove and drain.

    4. Heat cooking oil in skillet again. Sauté the onions until they are wilted or fragrant. Set aside on the edge of the pan then add the carrots, peppers and mushrooms. Set aside

    5. In another skillet, reheat the cooking oil. Saute the soaked beef until cooked. Remove and set aside.

    6. Boil the spinach leaves using boiling water for a while. Remove, then squeeze the water.

    7. Boil the noodles until soft using boiling water. Remove and drain. After that, pour in a little sesame oil and stir so it doesn't stick.

    8. Prepare a medium sized container. Pour in the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil and garlic. Stir until blended.

    9. Enter the noodles, saute beef, spinach, and other stir-fries. Stir until evenly distributed and all ingredients are coated with spices.

    10. Place on a plate and serve.

    2. Kimchi Jeon (Pancake Kimchi)

    Jeon is a Korean-style fried pancake or omelet. As the name implies, kimchi jeon is a Korean fried omelet cooked with South Korean specialties, namely kimchi.

    Materials needed :

    • 100 grams of kimchi. Parents can use packaged kimchi that can be found in several Indonesian supermarkets.
    • 5 tablespoons flour
    • 2 tablespoons of kimchi juice
    • A leek
    • 1 tablespoon chili powder
    • margarine, water, salt, and pepper to taste

    Steps to make:

    1. Slice the leeks lengthwise, set aside.

    2. Prepare a container. Combine flour, pepper, salt and chili powder. Add water and stir until slightly thick.

    3. Add the kimchi, kimchi feeling water, and chives. Mix well.

    4. Heat margarine in nonstick skillet. Pour the mixture and cook until cooked.

    5. Serve while warm.

    3. Bibimbab (Korean mixed rice)

    Materials needed :

    • 1oo gram ground beef
    • Bean sprouts and spinach according to taste
    • Carrots, button mushrooms, and cucumbers, cut into matches according to taste
    • 1/2 chopped onion
    • One clove of chopped garlic
    • One chicken egg
    • Salt and pepper powder to taste

    Ingredients for seasoning:

    • One tablespoon Korean chili paste (gochujang)
    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • One clove of garlic, mashed
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 tsp roasted sesame seeds
    •  Combine all the spices and set aside in a bowl or container.

    Steps to make:

    1. Heat the oil in a skillet over an even heat. Sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant. Then, put the ground beef and saute until the meat is cooked.

    2. Pour in salt and pepper. Add powder broth to taste. Stir and taste correction. Remove, set aside.

    3. Saute the carrots, cucumber, mushrooms, and bean sprouts separately. Add a little oyster sauce, salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.

    4. Put the warm rice in a bowl. Arrange the stir-fry ingredients in a circle. Fry a half cooked beef eye egg and place it in the middle of the stir fry ingredients.

    5. Pour the seasonings near the eggs.

    6. Serve. Mix all ingredients with rice until evenly before eating.

    4. Kimbab

    Kimbab

    Materials needed :

    • 4 ladle warm rice
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • Sushi roll tool if you have one

    Ingredients for filling:

    • 1 Carrot, cut into matchsticks that have been sauteed in salt
    • A bunch of boiled spinach, cut lengthwise and cover with 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 2 omelettes. Cut lengthwise
    • 10 crab sticks
    • 5 pieces of nori or seaweed
    • Toasted sesame seeds for sprinkling

    Steps to make:

    1. Take a sheet of nori. Heat a few seconds over low heat. Move it in a fan so that the nori doesn't burn.

    2. Put the nori on the mat. Pour the rice and spread it on half the surface of the nori while pressing. Lay the filling over the rice lengthwise.

    3. Roll the nori using the sushi roll tool while pressing it to make it solid. You can also directly use your hands if you don't have tools. Repeat until all ingredients run out.

    4. Cut the kimbab into small pieces. Top with sesame seeds. Serve.
